Italian Villa

Well we are back from Italy, It was amazing. My honey and I felt like we were on our honeymoon again. Especially since we went sans any kids. I have way too many pictures and might be a few pounds heavier, so all in all it was a great trip. I have been in hibernation and probably will continue to be until next week. I've been catching up on sleep and snuggling these babies I've missed so much. Until my next Italian post here are pictures from the Villa we stayed at for a few days.

Happy Mothers Day

I'm so grateful for the women in my life who have taught me what it means to be a mother. Their lessons and love have helped me to become who I am today. I am so humbled by my children, so lucky to have their love, and so graciously indebted for being given the chance, 3 times over, to be a Mommy.
Hug your Mom today. Tell her you love her.

Haydin's Party

The Party was a success. I didn't get a picture when all the food was out on display, but it was delicious. Happy Birthday to my little girl tomorrow! P.S. The coconut layer cake I made was amazing. I will share the recipe shortly.

Tousled Tuesday

Oh hair, How I love this picture. Her hair, her glasses, her jacket. Mostly though, I'll take the hair. It's gorgeous, wish my hair looked like that everyday. Any who I was reading this article on how to de-gunk your scalp and hair. I'm going to give it a whirl. You should too.

Right now I am gearing up for my cleanse tomorrow. Technically my 30 day diet should be over with today, however I have so much shake and cleanse crap left that I am going to extend this until I leave for Italy or it runs out which ever comes first. So far I have lost 13 pounds. I was hoping to lose another 10 before I am completely satisfied, but this has been a great boost and jump start to a better way of living. I would definitely recommend this "cleanse".

Have a super weekend

Right now we are in the kitchen. Making some coconut layer cake for our guests tomorrow. My little munchkins are helping... well LICKING up my mess. 

Can't wait to have our family over for some good food and most importantly to celebrate the birth of my sweet baby girl.

TGIF - A perfect day

Perfect start to this Friday, a Royal Wedding. I am loving Princess Kathryn's dress. The whole wedding was breathe taking. I got goose bumps a few times. Kate was absolutely perfection. I can not believe what poise she had. They are going to be a great couple.

I loved these shots of them after the wedding, taking a little ride. What a rush it would be to be in front of all those people. It really was a wedding day fit for a fairy tale. A wedding we all dream about having as a little girl.

Her party is sort of garden meets Cinco de Mayo. I was inspired by this garden party from Nicole at Me oh My. Sounds funny, but Haydin was born on Cinco de Mayo so we might just have to have a pinata, and some mini bean and cheese burritos from our fav mexican spot.
