Ikea Shadow Box Frames with Shells. 

I've been wanting to make these for a while now and I finally did it. It was so easy, I even made two more with coral branches and a Linen backdrop for my bathroom.

I bought the frames from Ikea.
Got fabric at Joanne's, nothing crazy expensive, actually super cheap.
Picked up some shells from a local shop and got to work.

1. Remove the back of the frame
2. Cut out a piece of fabric big enough to fit behind the Photo Mat.
3. Glued the fabric to the backing of the frame with a glue gun.
4. Then Glued the shells on with a glue gun.
5. Put the frame back together and your done.

Fall forward

It cold outside this evening and it's making me excited for a change in the season. Wearing warm clothes with lots of layers, cute scarves, and tall boots. I forgot where I saw this picture, but I kept it because I LUV her outfit. I'll even take her gold watch.

Also bought these essentials for my little back to school girl. Dying over them. Shoes from Zara kids and Jacket from Forever 21 girls. At our mall forever 21 just moved into a 2 story location, (where SACKS 5th Ave used to be) and now they carry kids clothing. Who knew.

We're finally back

I feel like we've been gone for weeks and maybe it's because we have.
From Utah to Montana,
to Las Vegas to Pirates Cove,
then heading to the beach to Camp and a few more spots from now until school starts.
It's been crazy, but a super fun crazy.

Watercolor

Ok So I've been a little obsessed with trying to add more color in my house. I am loving these water color paintings and prints I have found on pinterst. My other new obsession!

Also love this crayon melting art idea. 

Now I just need to get some canvas's and start painting. I have a neighbor that's a painter, and another one that is an art major and used to be a art teacher. She offered to help me and to lend me her water colors. Thank goodness for wonderful neighbors and creative people. What would I do with out the internet? I love seeing all of you creative people out there. So inspiring. I'll do a tutorial if it gets tricky.
